Managing Partner, Funeral Director & Embalmer
Kimberley is a native Houstonian and currently resides in Dayton, Texas with her husband Chuck. She graduated from Alief Hastings High in southwest Houston, attended Houston Community College where she studied business, accounting, and marketing. Kimberley began working in the business as a student in mortuary school before graduating in 2002 with honors and distinction from Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service in Houston, where she was a member of the National Honor Society and a recipient of the R.L. Waltrip Chairman’s Award.
Upon graduation, Kimberley continued working as a licensed funeral director and location manager for The Settegast-Kopf Co. in Sugar Land and Uptown Houston for many years. She continued to grow within the company taking her to new levels with other funeral homes including Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home and Cemetery, Earthman Funeral Directors at Hunters Creek and Brookside Funeral Home at Champions where she was also the location manager for four years.

Kimberley became the Managing Partner with the Sterling Funeral Homes team in October of 2015, bringing with her more than 13 years’ experience and professionalism in the industry. She is a member of the Dayton Rotary Club and a past member of the Executive Board and Past President for the Dayton Chamber of Commerce, Board Member for the Anahuac Area Chamber of Commerce. Life Member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and an HLSR Livestock Committeemen. Kimberley continues to expand her involvement within the community.
Kimberley and Chuck have three adult daughters, three grandsons and two granddaughters. Some of her hobbies include gardening, spending time with her family and riding with her husband on their motorcycle.

Dechele was born in Baytown and
has been a native of this area her entire life. She now resides in Dayton with her husband and their
two children. She is a graduate from Robert E. Lee High School in Baytown. She attended Lee College concentrating on her general studies, later transferring to
Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Services where she graduated in 2017 with her associate’s degree in applied arts and sciences in the death care industry.
Dechele joined Sterling Funeral
home in July of 2017 while still a student at Commonwealth. She also has works for Barbers Hill ISD in the transportation department as a bus driver. She enjoys spending time with her family, working with children,
reading, listening to music and cooking.

Linda has been serving families and their loved ones here at Sterling Funeral Homes since 2012. Her love and compassion for people shines through everything she does. Linda enjoys painting, reading, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Office Manager
Dawn Holland joined the Sterling Funeral Home team in February 2015 as an administrative assistant and has worked her way up to Office Manager. She is a native of Liberty, Texas and graduated from Liberty High School in 2002, and still resides in Liberty with her husband Kevin and two daughters Laci and Mckenzie. Dawn's favorite hobby is spending time with her family and friends. She is a dedicated mom who attends every game, practice and events that her children are involved in.
Dawn graduated from Champions School of Real Estate and worked as a licensed real estate agent for several years and was a stay at home mom before entering the funeral industry.

Bonnie is the mother of three; grandmother of five; and great-grandmother of two. She graduated from T.D.C.J. Academy and is currently a retired correctional officer.
Bonnie's hobbies include gardening, rifle tournaments at 200 and 600 yards, riding her adult tricycle, exercising and socializing with friends. She also loves animals.
Bonnie enjoys helping people and has been an Ambassador for Sterling Funeral Home since 2016 and loves working for them as they are like a second family.

Jesse Hostler was born in Pennsylvania where he lived for ten years before he and his family moved to Texas in November of 2014.
Jesse joined the team at Sterling Funeral Home in July of 2021 as an Ambassador, where he is flourishing and growing.
He is wrapping up his home school career soon, and dreams of becoming a fully licensed funeral director and embalmer upon graduation from high school and mortuary school. Jesse enjoys reading, hanging out with his siblings, and being involved in church activities, including the food ministry.

Chuck was born in Amarillo, Texas and relocated to the Houston area in 1991. After high school, he graduated from Amarillo College of Hairdressing and became a licensed Cosmetologist.
Chuck has also worked in construction, fencing, and fabrication over the past 20 years. He is very creative, enjoys fabricating and welding, and bringing his ideas to life.
Chuck started working at Sterling Funeral Home in 2015, shortly after his wife Kimberley became the Managing Partner. He began doing odd jobs and maintenance around the buildings and now assists in the hair and cosmetics for the families we serve.
