Rosemary Henicke, 88, of Spring, Texas passed away on Sunday, July 2, 2017 in Baytown, Texas. She was born on April 29, 1929 in Galveston, Texas to William and Estelle Libby Haynes.
Rosemary was a former member of the First Baptist Church in Anahuac. She had many hobbies some of which included cooking and crossword puzzles. Rosemary also enjoyed canning various items produced by her husband Frank’s garden and making her famous blackberry jelly. She cared for and loved her family unconditionally. Her children and grandchildren were her biggest joys. Rosemary will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of 63 years, Frank Gus Henicke; her son Darryl Henicke; one sister; and her four brothers. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her sons Aaron Henicke and wife Janelle of Grapeland, Texas and Michael Henicke and wife Judy of Baytown, Texas; her ten grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren; and a host of other extended family and friends.
Honoring the family and serving as pallbearers will be Rosemary’s grandsons Jason Henicke, Cullen Henicke, Adam Henicke, Cory Henicke, Sam Henicke and Jeremy Henicke.
Friends are invited to visit with the family from 6pm until 8pm on Thursday, July 6, 2017 in the chapel of Sterling Funeral Home located at 1201 South Main Street in Anahuac. Funeral service will be held at 10am on Friday, July 7, 2017 at the First Baptist Church of Anahuac, 405 Magnolia Avenue South, Anahuac, Texas. A graveside service and committal will immediately follow in Anahuac Cemetery.
