Lucille Verona Campodonico

Lucille Verona Campodonico, 82, formerly of Anahuac, Texas passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2017 in Humble, Texas. She was born on April 11, 1934 in Hankamer, Texas to Martin and Mary Watson Kocijan. A child of the “Great Depression”, Lucille graduated from Anahuac High School in 1953. She lived a humble, honest life.

Lucille was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many. She enjoyed spending time with her family and loved her dogs. Lucille was a very talented and accomplished artist of oil painting and pen and ink drawings. She who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Lucille was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Marco Campodonico; and her brothers Henry and Billy Kocijan. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her daughter Mary Campodonico of Houston; her sons Ronald Campodonico and wife Katrina of Katy and Roger Campodonico of Houston; her grandchildren Daniel, Mary and P.J. Campodonico; and other loving relatives and friends; and all the children she had a hand in raising.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30am on Friday, April 7, 2017 at Sterling Funeral Home, 1201 S. Main Street, Anahuac, Texas. A graveside service and committal will immediately follow in Anahuac Cemetery.
