Charles “Charlie” or “Chuck” Frederick Angele, 66, of Anahuac, Texas, passed away on Thursday, January 19, 2017 in Beaumont, Texas. He was born on October 4, 1950 in Beaumont, Texas to Otto Angele, Sr. and James Delores Heider Angele. Charlie graduated from Vidor High School and attended Baylor University at 15 years old. He played football in both high school and college. Charlie received his Bachelor’s degree from Lamar University in electrical engineering. He proudly served his country as a Sergeant with the United States Air Force as a radar technician. Charlie worked for many years with Bimbo Bakeries USA (Mrs. Baird’s) and had recently retired.

Charlie worked hard in his professional career and saut perfection in all his projects at work and home. From designing and building the most state of the art bait camp, "The Lazy Pelican" to refinishing his prized guns he always managed to produce excellence in all his efforts. He enjoyed fishing occasionally and loved to restore Volkswagens, however his greatest passion were his grandchildren.

Charlie was preceded in death by his parents; and a daughter Carrie Lynn. He leaves behind to cherish his memory loving wife of 21 years Mary Angele; his daughters Dianna Lynn and Tonya Louise Myers; his grandchildren Paige and Courtney Thompsen and Tori and Carli McIntyre; his great-grandson John Luke Garrett; his brother Horace “Ricky” Angele; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Honoring the family by serving as pallbearers will be Justin Weitekamp, Cory Weitekamp, Kitchel Weitekamp, Gage Allison, Shawn Cleveland, Jacob Cleveland, Paul Gilcrease and Roger Wilkins. Bro Rod Vincent and Bro Gene Summers will be officiating the graveside and committal service.
