Vickie A. Fatheree

March 10, 1963 ~ August 22, 2019 (age 56) 56 Years Old

Tribute

Vickie Annette Brock Fatheree, 56, of Anahuac, Texas, was born in Galveston, Texas on March 10, 1963, to Johnnie Mae Kelley and Julius Ray “JR” Brock. Vickie went to be with our Lord on Thursday, August 22, 2019, surrounded by her loving family, after a valiant battle with cancer.

Vickie loved life. She enjoyed fishing, playing Phase 10 and dominos with her family. Vickie was talented and loved to crochet. Oh, how she made some beautiful things. She was a kid at heart who loved hunting Pokémon with her children and grandchildren. Vickie was a mother to many and would do anything for the ones she loved. Most of all, she loved her family and friends and wanted nothing more than for all of them to be together. It didn’t matter if it was a day at the beach, fishing at the river or just enjoying a good ole’ family meal.

Vickie had three children whom she loved and adored with all of her heart, not to mention numerous others that called her mom or looked up to her as a mom, that she loved just as much.

Vickie was preceded in death by her daughter Jennifer Sue; her sister Kimberly Slaughter, her father Julius “JR” Brock; her brother Jerry “Red Dawg” Reinier; her grandmother Gurdie LaBove; and numerous other family members. She is survived by her mother Johnnie Mae Kelley of South Carolina; her brother Daniel Brock of South Carolina; her daughter Cheryl Padilla and husband Rene of Anahuac; her son Randle McDaniel and wife Kimberely of Liberty; her granddaughters Sara and boyfriend Billy of Anahuac, Miranda and Destiny of Missouri, Briteny and husband Devin of Missouri; her grandsons Nicholas Padilla of Texas, Michael and Dusty Watts of Anahuac; her two great-grandchildren Alyssa Grace and Billy, III; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
