John Daniel Oszart, 63, of Huffman, Texas, passed away at his home on Wednesday, May 8, 2019. He was born in Brooklyn, New York on April 8, 1956, to the late Louis Walter and Ann Dupleck Oszart.

Even though John did not graduate from high school that did not stop him from becoming successful. He liked to work hard and instilled that same work ethic in his sons. John was a self-employed commercial truck driver for almost 40 years. He enjoyed working on different projects in his garage and riding his Goldwing motorcycle. John loved being outdoors. He enjoyed any type of water activities and going to the beach. John would find things to do outside whenever he could and the rain did not stop him.

John was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to many. He was dedicated to his family and loved nothing more than spending time with them. John will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

John was preceded in death by his parents; and sister Kathy. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 7 years Lisa Maurine Oszart; his brother Michael Oszart and wife Grace of Howard Beach, New York; his children Donny Eicher of Atascocita, JohnLouis Eicher and wife Jennifer of Huffman, Michael Eicher and wife Agnes of Huffman and Brian Oszart; his stepchildren Linga Frugé and husband Brendan of Atascocita, David Audirsch and wife Melissa of Humble and Michael Audirsch of Humble; his nephew Andrew Oszart of Howard Beach, New York; his 19 grandchildren; his former wife of 26 years Debra McFarland; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 6pm until 8pm on Wednesday, May 15, 2019, in the chapel of Sterling Funeral Home, 602 N. Main Street in Dayton. A celebration of John’s life will be held at 11am on Thursday, May 16, 2019, at Sterling Funeral Home.
