Victor Manuel De La Cruz

Victor Manuel De La Cruz, 37, of Anahuac, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 16, 2017. He was born on October 3, 1979 in Liberty, Texas to Manuel and Carmen De La Cruz. Victor graduated from Anahuac High School in 1998, where he had played baseball.

Victor had several hobbies some of which included fishing, baseball, animals and dancing. He especially loved spending time with his family and children. Victor was a volunteer for his children’s softball, T-ball and football teams. He was also a member of Our Lady of Light Catholic Church in Anahuac.

Victor leaves behind to cherish his memory his parents, Manuel and Carmen De La Cruz; his siblings Eva Martinez and husband Chabelo of Anahuac, Nency Escobar and husband Simon of San Antonio, Eliana Mendoza and husband Orlando of Odessa and Jose Antonio De La Cruz of Anahuac; his children Natalie Elisa, Victor Alonso and Eduardo Miguel De La Cruz; several nieces and nephews; and numerous other loving relatives and friends. Victor will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Honoring the family by serving as pallbearers will be Jose Moreno, Adan De La Cruz, Oracio De La Cruz, Jose A. De La Cruz, Juan Garcia and Gerardo Palacios.
