Tracy Anne Guillory

Tracy Anne Guillory, 49, of Anahuac, Texas passed away on Saturday, November 24, 2018 in Houston, Texas. She was born July 26, 1969 in Sulphur, Louisiana to Alton M. and Diana Gale Steward. Tracy graduated from LaPorte High School in 1988 and attended dental school in the Houston area. She had worked for seven years as a dental assistant for Dr. Fulton in Mont Belvieu.

Tracy was a bargain queen who loved to shop. She enjoyed baking, especially hard candy around Christmas time filling her home with the smells of spearmint, peppermint and cinnamon. Tracy also enjoyed eating out and spending Friday nights with family and friends at the Crawfish Place. Although she wasn’t a golfer, she liked going to the golf course with her husband Lindy just to ride on the cart and to socialize with friends.

Tracy was a wonderful daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many. She was a loving, caring and giving woman who lived for her husband, son and the rest of her family. Tracy would always help children whenever she could by volunteering at the Youth Project Show and ProGrad at Anahuac High School. She was affectionately nicknamed by her father as B-bop and he would remind her that is was because “she fell from the treetop”.

Tracy was preceded in death by her father, Alton M. Steward. She leaves behind to cherish her memories, her mother Gale Steward; her loving husband Lindy Guillory; her son Ashton Guillory; her daughters Amanda Shelley and husband Steve and Julie Davis and husband Chris; her grandchildren Houston, Hagen, Matthew and Alaina; her siblings Tammy Steward, Tad Steward and Troy Steward; her sister-in-law Brenda Chauvin; her special niece Lindsey Price that she thought of more like a daughter; numerous nieces and nephews; and other loving relatives and friends.

Honoring the family by serving as pallbearers will be Danny Pringle, Ed Whittington, Lawrence Richards, Skyler Kerby, Casey Price and Houston Buehler. Honorary pallbearers are Dale Johnston, Hagen Gorden and Carter Sherman.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 5pm until 8pm on Thursday, November 29, 2018 in the chapel of Sterling Funeral Home, 1201 S. Main Street in Anahuac. A funeral service will be held at 11am on Friday, November 30, 2018 at the First Baptist Church of Anahuac, 405 Magnolia Avenue South in Anahuac. A graveside service and committal will immediately follow in Anahuac Cemetery.
