Susan Jayne (Billingsley) Lane

Susan Jayne Lane, 80, of Dayton, Texas, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2024, in Kingwood, Texas. She was born on November 7, 1943, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to the late Jay Oscar and Margaret June Albertson Billingsley.

Susan was a beloved homemaker who adored spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her love for life was evident in her passions for camping, riding motorcycles, and enjoying the beach. Susan was a devoted member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church where she found solace in her faith.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Wallace Eugene Lane Jr.; and her brother, Russell Davis. She leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth, cherished by her son Reagan Joseph (Joe) Lane; daughters Sherie Sue Lane, Leia Lane Alford and Valli Lane Garza and husband Gabriel Garza; and her brother Kevin Davis. She is also survived by her grandchildren Zachary Garza and wife Casey Legg Garza, Lauren DeBerry, Cheyenne Garza Adams and husband Ashton Adams, Kaitlyn Alford, and Matthew Alford; and her great-grandchildren Austin, Bryce, Bradley, Anthony, Isabella, Kaizleigh, Dawson, Julian, Laila, and Juilet; and great great-grandchild Reiya.

Susan's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered for her kind spirit and unwavering love. May she rest in peace.
