Sarah Francis Boudreaux

Sarah Como Boudreaux was born on September 12th, 1949 in Dayton Texas to Lawrence and Alida Como. She attended Dayton Independent School District and graduated with the class of 1968. She attended Prairie View A&M where she studied nursing. She worked in the medical field for several years and later worked at Liberty ISD in the Special Education Department. She then transitioned to becoming a part of the Criminal Justice field as an inmate records supervisor/switch board operator for Plain State Jail where she retired after 12 years.

She gave her life to the Lord at an early age. She was an active member of Maranatha Church and various ministries within. She not only cared about her own salvation, but cared to minister to others daily through social media and witnessing. She loved being in church every chance she had. She always showed a genuine love for people, and never met a stranger.

She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and loved to play Bingo. She loved to watch Law & Order and Criminal Minds. When she was still able to drive, she loved to attend her grandchildren’s extracurricular activities. She loved to play dominoes with her nephews and any other fellowship activities that involved her loving family.

She was proceeded in death by her father(Lawrence), mother(Alida), brother(Lawrence), sister(Vera), husband(Samuel), and daughter(Deandrea).

She is survived by her sister Ada(Ezra), her brother John, daughter Alida(James), grandchildren Ladea(Josh), Alanah, Gabriel and great grandchild Charlie. She leaves to mourn a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Honoring the family by serving as pallbearers will be Jesse Donatto, Jr., Joshua Morgan, Moses Payne, Don Donatto, Aaron Payne and Murphy Arvie. Honorary pallbearers will be James Howard, Gabriel Howard, Timothy Howard, Josh Payne, Xhavior Thomas and Winter Boswell.

Friends are invited to visit with the family beginning at 10am on Friday, January 5, 2018 at the Maranatha Church located at 12319 TX-146, Mont Belvieu, Texas 77580. A funeral service will be held at 11am following the visitation, with Pastor Mark Trice officiating. A graveside service and committal will immediately follow in Palms Memorial Park Cemetery in Dayton, Texas.
