Baby Child 05

Roxanne Lydia Osburn

January 20, 2019 ~ January 18, 2020

Tribute

Heaven’s gain was our loss when our angel, Roxanne “Chicken” Lydia Osburn was called by our Lord on Saturday, January 18, 2020. She was born on January 20, 2019, in Houston, Texas to Azalyn Morgan and Teddy-Layne Osburn, Sr. In her short 11 months, Roxanne brought love, joy, and laughter to all those around her. Although she could be selective with her smile, it would light up any room. Her big sea green and blue eyes were just as captivating as her smile.

Fondly called “chunky chicken” by her family, because she loved food and would eat just about anything. She also loved music, dancing and playing with her baby dolls. Roxanne also enjoyed spending time and playing in a hammock at her grandparent’s home. She also admired most dogs but wasn’t very fond of the family’s chihuahua, Rowdy, her clothing and wearing bows on her head. She was a very smart little girl that touched so many people in her short life.

Roxanne was greeted in Heaven by her maternal great-grandmothers Roxanne Campbell and June McCarty; her fraternal great-grandmothers Lydia Catherine Hardin and Tommie Lou-Anne Birdwell; her uncle Zyan Morgan; and her aunt Faith Regis Neault. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her parents Azalyn Morgan and Teddy-Layne Osburn, Sr.; her twin brother and best friend Teddy-Layne Osburn, Jr. and siblings Gauge, Jalyssa, Aaliya, Savanna, Aubrey, Kierstin and Kacie; her grandparents Lana and Chris McCarty (Mimzy and Pappy) and Catrina and Jamie Neault (Big Red and Big Poppa); her aunts Destiny, Cecily, Peyton, Julia, Cassidy, and Hope; her uncle Christopher; and many other relatives that loved her dearly.

“Dearest baby, please know that our greatest blessing was having you.”
