Robert Eugene Smith

Robert Eugene Smith, 54, of Baytown, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 12, 2021, at his home. He was born on June 30, 1967, in Geneseo, Illinois, to the late Robert L. and Sonya Harper Smith. Robert attended Mountain View High School in Mesa, Arizona. He worked for many years as a journeyman electrician.

Robert pursued several interests, some of which included playing video games and spending time with his family and his sons. He was an avid fan of gaming and what he enjoyed most was gaming with his family.

Robert was a dedicated son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend to many. He had a unique and fun personality that others enjoyed. Robert will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents; and his maternal grandmother Roxy Harper. He leaves behind to cherish his loving memory, his wife Krista Smith; his children Jacob Smith and wife Haley Triche, Robert L. Smith, II, Steven Smith, Keith Smith, and Tawna Packer; his grandchildren Kyarra Packer, Sethiroth Reynolds, Lyric Reynolds, and one on the way; his siblings Melissa Watts and Colton Smith; his stepmother Kathy Smith; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

It was Robert’s wish to be cremated and to be remembered by all as the kind, loving and funny man that he was.
