Ollie Mae Jackson

Ollie Mae Fitzgerald Jackson, 101, of Wallisville, Texas, went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 18, 2020. She was born on February 15, 1919, in Houston, Texas to John S. Fitzgerald and Coma Irene Adams Fitzgerald. In her younger years, she was a nurse and enjoyed taking care of others. Ollie enjoyed playing Uno, bingo, and working crossword puzzles. Ollie was a wonderful sister, mother, grandmother, mother-in-law, and friend that will be dearly missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Levi Jackson; parents, John and Coma Fitzgerald; children, Doris M. Jackson Cormier and Jack Jackson; one sister and three brothers.

Ollie is survived by her son-in-law, Whitney Cormier; sister, Sue Allen; grandchildren, Gavin Cormier, Christopher Cormier, Keith Cormier, Michael Jackson, Mark Jackson, and Matthew Jackson; thirteen great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.

A visitation will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 in Anahuac Cemetery with a graveside service to follow at 11:00am.
