Morris "Billy" Dean Badgett

Morris Dean “Billy” Badgett, 82, a resident of Dayton, Texas, passed away on Monday, September 11, 2017 at his home. He was born on January 15, 1935 in Dayton, the youngest of three children of Oma Lee and Patrick H. Badgett, Sr.

Billy attended school in Huffman through the eighth grade before attending Dayton High School. He was also a member of the First Baptist Church in Huffman for many years. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Billy was preceded by his parents; his sister Bobbie Dee McCoy and her husband Earl. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his brother Pat H. Badgett, Jr. and wife Joyce of Dayton; his nieces and nephews

June Ressler and husband Rusty, Matt Badgett and wife Theresa, Mary Lee Tucker and husband Cory and Barbara Ann Sparks and husband Bucky; his numerous great-nieces and nephews; and other loving family and friends.

Honoring the family by serving as pallbearers will be Robert Ressler, Richard Ressler, Randy Ressler, Jonathan Badgett, Cory Credeur and Richard Gubbs.
