Larry Allan Linn

April 24, 1953 ~ April 7, 2019 (age 65) 65 Years Old

Tribute

Larry Allan Linn, 65, of Anahuac and formerly of Houston, passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2019, in Houston, Texas. He was born on April 24, 1953, in Providence, Rhode Island to Donald Eugene and Wanda Pauline Brashar Linn.

Larry and his wife Kym, recently relocated to the Anahuac area from Houston to be closer to family. He was a simple man who loved his wife dearly. Larry was a loving husband, brother, uncle and friend to many. He was very social and had the gift to gab, never meeting a stranger or anyone that he did not like.

Larry was a hard worker and had worked as a diesel mechanic for most of his life. He worked for Amigo Truck Parts for more than thirty years before retiring. When someone talked about mechanical problems with their vehicle, Larry would have a detailed diagnosis before the conversation ended.

Larry pursued many interests, some of which included camping and boating with his wife and friends. Larry and Kym also enjoyed festivals and would often dress in costume when attending. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 21 years, Kym Linn; his sister Donna Warren and husband Mike of Oklahoma City; his mother and father-in-law Don and Barbara Harmon of Anahuac; his sister-in-law Kylene Baker and husband Richard of Anahuac; several nieces and nephews; his purr-fect cat companion NewNee; and other loving relatives and friends.

Being the simple man that he was, Larry’s wishes were to be cremated and no services held. He wanted to be remembered in life by everyone he touched.
