Kirk Norton

Kirk Norton died peacefully Saturday, February 24, 2018. He was born in Baytown, Texas, November 20, 1952. 

Kirk met his high school love in 1970 at Robert E. Lee High School. Kirk and Patricia (Trish) Hebel were married in May of 1974 and they moved from Baytown to Wallisville in 1977. 

Kirk and Trish raised 3 sons in Chambers County country living --Ben (Jennifer), Thomas (TJ) (Jessica), and Cody (Shelly). Papaw's grandchildren are Taylor and Annabel, Sean and Caden (baby brother C.J. is due in June) and Megan. Our Lord has received Papaw to join our grandson Cameron, who died at the age of 4 in 2013.

His parents are Jack and Nancy Waltine of Baytown. Brothers Grady and Wyman (Shawn); sister-in-law & brother-in-law Liz and Chris Buckner. Uncles and Aunts Johnny Norton, Jimmy and Illeen Norton and Patsy Ainsworth Maness along with cousins galore! Nieces Lisa and Lauri Lumus; Channing (Zeke) Stuckey,  Brandi Sheak and Sarah Norton and great nieces Abby Petermann, Hadley Lumus and Peyton Stuckey.

Kirk was a quiet but thoughtful gentleman. A Christian who loved and served his Lord faithfully with his family, in the community and at his home church, Middleton Memorial United Methodist Church, Wallisville, Texas.

A memorial service will be held at Middleton United Methodist Church of Wallisville, 2241 Wallisville/Liberty Road at 10:30am on Saturday, March 3, 2018. Phone # 409-267-3242
