Tribute

Joseph Adolph Dusak, Jr., 76, of Dayton, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, September 22, 2020, in Houston, Texas. He was born on December 11, 1943, in Rosenberg, Texas to the late Eleanor Mary Pyka and Joseph Adolph Dusak, Sr.

Joe was an extremely hard worker and worked for many years as a supervisor in billboard advertising before his retirement. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed nothing more than saltwater fishing at the Bolivar Peninsula. Although he was a strong and caring man, he could also be extremely hardheaded. Joe will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents; his daughters Susie Cooley and Jamie Burton; and his sisters Wanda White and Eleanora Mary Karbowski. He leaves behind to cherish his loving memory, his children Cynthia DeLuna and husband Louis of Dayton and Joseph Dusak, III, of Dayton; his grandchildren Cassie DeLuna, Breanna Sorensen, Blake Burton and Stephanie DeLuna; his nieces and nephews; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

A celebration of Joe’s life will be held his residence 31 Private Rd 684, Dayton, TX 77535 on 10/3/2020 @ 2:00 pm, by his daughter Cynthia and son Joseph.
