Edna Coleman

Edna Morris Coleman, 93, of Channelview, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 in Humble, Texas. She was born on April 3, 1924 in Foreman, Arkansas to Joe and Della Mae Sharp Morris. 

Edna was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many. She enjoyed working as an Avon Consultant for over 50 years. Edna was a very crafty lady, making Christmas ornaments and painting tablecloths in her younger years. She was also an avid gardener, who loved roses and flowers. Edna will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. 

Edna was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Lester George Coleman; her son Alfred Thomas Morris; and her sisters Lucille Sharp. Nina Zwernemann and Martha Collum Armstrong. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her sons Robert Morris and wife Karen and Joe Morris and wife Deborah; her daughter Lillian “Sue” Miller and husband Bill of Little Rock, Arkansas; her 8 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other loving relatives and friends. 

A graveside service and committal will be held at 10am on Saturday, December 30, 2017 in Ryan Cemetery, located on TX 321, Tarkington Prairie, with Bro Jeff Day officiating.
