Dustin Andrew Harrington

Dustin Andrew Harrington, 36, of Monroe, Louisiana, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 27, 2023, in Oak Island, Texas. He was born on June 15, 1986, in Monroe, Louisiana to the late Andrew “Andy” Jackson and Theresa Russell Harrington. Dustin graduated from Ouachita Parish High School in Monroe, with the class of 2004, and attended the University of Louisiana at Monroe.

Dustin was a beautiful soul, funny, and quick-witted, he was an avid lover of all animals, and his life revolved around his canine companion, Zeus. He was an extremely good cook and would say if his food could make others smile, it was worth every ounce of love he put into it. Dustin will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.

Dustin was preceded in death by his parents; and his niece Brittany Crenshaw. He leaves behind to cherish his loving memory, his sisters Meshell Drey and husband Michael of Fort Lee, Virginia and Rita Crenshaw of Oak Island; his godparents Sandi and Steve Beeson of Oak Island; his nieces and nephews Jackson Harrington, John Crenshaw, Kyle Burks and wife Mary Claire, Mikylen Drey and Kiera Drey; his great-niece Valley Harrington; his faithful fur baby Zeus; his aunts and uncles Rhonda and Owen Ramsey and Debra and Sambo Balch; his many cousins; and other cherished family and friends.

It was Dustin’s wish to be cremated and to be remembered by all as the kind, loving and funny man that he was.
