David Curtis McBride, 47, of Dayton, Texas, passed away unexpectedly, on Thursday, July 14, 2022, at his residence. He was born on July 27, 1974, in Pasadena, Texas to the late Curtis Eugene and Carol Ann Kemper McBride. David graduated from Ross S. Sterling High School, in Baytown, Texas, the class of 1992. He worked in pipefitting as a sight inspector for many years.
David pursued many interests, some of which included fishing and collecting knives. He had a special place in his heart for animals and was a breeder of English Bulldogs. David loved anything fast, especially fast cars, after growing up around the family business, McBride Racing. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
David was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister Lori Ann Mullens. He is survived by his brother Jason McBride of Clear Lake; his nephew Devin McBride; his niece Delanie McBride; his aunt Winn Skidmore of Dayton; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
A celebration of David’s life will be held at 11am, on Saturday, September 3, 2022, in the chapel of Sterling Funeral Home, 602 N. Main Street in Dayton, with Pastor Eric Bolenbaucher.
