David Joseph Mainor, 37, of Liberty, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 20, 2018, in Houston, Texas. He was born on February 26, 1981, in Baytown, Texas to Edward and Rhonda Johnson Mainor.
David had been working in his family’s business, Johnson’s Trucking. He was a true outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. David could always be found sporting his mirrored sunshades and cowboy hat. He also enjoyed cutting hair and spending quality time with his son Drayden whom he adored greatly. David was outgoing, a people person and a someone who never met a stranger. He was the center of his grandpa’s world and his grandpa was David’s world. They had an exclusive love and fellowship for one another.
David leaves behind to cherish his memory, his parents Eddie and Rhonda; his son Drayden Peeler; his sister Tiffany Mainor; his grandfather Johnny Johnson; and a host of other loving relatives and friends. David will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Friends are invited to visit with the family from 6pm until 8 pm on Monday, April 2, 2018, in the chapel of Sterling Funeral Home, 602 N. Main Street in Dayton. Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Tuesday, April 3, 2018, at Sterling Funeral Home, with Bro Phil Baragas officiating. A graveside service and committal will immediately follow in the Johnson Family Cemetery located in Liberty, Texas.
