Kay Tomlin

Bernice “Kay” Tomlin, 76, of Houston, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2019, at Methodist Willowbrook Hospital. She was born on September 5, 1942, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to the late George and Mae Wilburn Gowin. Kay received her Associate Degree from South San Antonio College and worked as a data entry clerk for the Internal Revenue Service.

Kay was preceded in death by her parents; and her grandson Ryan Alanis. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her son Peter T. Alanis and wife Susan; her granddaughter Carlie Alanis; her sisters Donna Sue Bryant and Rose Marie Vega; and a host of other loving relatives and friends. Kay will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

It was Kay’s wishes to be cremated and her family to have a private graveside service for her at a later date.
