Amy Christine Salyer, 34, of Arlington, Texas, passed away unexpectedly, on Monday, November 13, 2023, in Arlington, Texas, with family and friends by her side. She was born in Dallas on June 1, 1989, to the late Alfred Clemon and Candace Maryann Godzwon Salyer. Amy graduated from Waxahachie High School in Waxahachie, with the class of 2007.
Amy was quick-witted, with a contagious laugh, and was all about the fun. She was kind, and caring, and would do anything for her friends. Amy loved her dad, nephew, and Jesus unconditionally. Recently she had dedicated her time to reading the Bible every day. Amy also loved watching Disney movies and eating Chicken Express, making sure never to skip that roll. She will be missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her.
Amy was preceded in death by her parents; and her stepmother Karen Darnall. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her sisters Lindsey McCaslin and husband Clayton and Laura Bell and husband Micah; her nephews Edward, Zachary, Brendan, and William; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
A celebration of Amy’s life will be held at 1pm, on Saturday, December 16, 2023, at 100 Church Street, Ennis, Texas.
