Roberta Rosa Ainsworth, 84, formerly of Liberty, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 in Webster, Texas. She was born on October 20, 1933 in Moline, Kansas. Roberta attended Longton School in Longton, Kansas. 

Roberta was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She enjoyed eating out, reading her bible and attending church. Roberta was a very independent person who loved simple domestic chores such as washing dishes and doing laundry. In her younger years, she enjoyed shopping whether it was for shoes or Christmas shopping. But what Roberta enjoyed most of all was spending time with her family. 

Roberta was preceded in death by her mother Lela Fletcher; her husband Jackie Lee Thomas; and her daughter Debra Jean Thomas Burch; grand daughter Amanda Thamm; sister Majorie Boswell. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her son Anthony Ray Thomas and wife Debra; her daughters Nancy Luanne Thomas Jorgenson and husband Donald and Cheryl Ann Thomas; her grandchildren Kimberly Armstrong, Travis Williamson, Angela Thomas, Cary Thomas, Eric Thomas, Crystal Turner and Frederick Thamm; her great-grandchildren Tiffany Malone, Jessika Armstrong, Kevin Armstrong, Dakota Thomas, Alyissa Hollis, Jason Walters, Christian Vance, Nicholas Walters, Madisson Turner and Toby Thamm; her great-great grandchildren Shealynn Rose Armstrong, Marlie Jean Malone, Shyla Rae Armstrong, Megan Williamson, Kelbie Williamson, Travis Williamson II. and Skyler Smith; and a host of other loving relatives and friends. 

Honoring the family by serving as pallbearers will be Chris Turner, Frederick Thamm, Jason Walters, Nicholas Walters, Kevin Armstrong and Christian Vance. Honorary pallbearer will be Travis Williamson. 

Friends are invited to visit with the family beginning at 1pm on Friday, February 9, 2017 in the chapel of Sterling Funeral Home, 602 N. Main Street, Dayton, Texas. A funeral service will begin at 2pm, following the visitation in the chapel. A graveside service and committal will immediately follow in Palms Memorial Park Cemetery.
