Paul Leland Wolfe

June 11, 1959 ~ December 26, 2017 (age 58) 58 Years Old

Paul Leland Wolfe, 58, of Dayton, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 in Kingwood, Texas. He was born on June 11, 1959 in Sacramento, California to Herman Lee and Betty Snoderly Wolfe.

Paul was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend to many. He was the best DAD and friend ever. Paul was jovial and outgoing, he knew everyone just about anywhere and never met a stranger. He was also known to be a big jokester, always having the last laugh.

Paul loved to work and stay busy. He worked for several years as a Fleet Foreman at Lynchburg Channel Shipyard. When he wasn’t working at the shipyard, he was working at home, tinkering around the yard. One of Paul’s favorite pastimes was to scrap iron. He loved the great outdoors, hunting, fishing and even frogging.

Paul was preceded in death by his father; his brothers Danny and Smiley Wolfe; and his sister Maudie Wolfe. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 13 years, Garrie Merrill Wolfe; his sons Lee Wolfe, Chris Wolfe and Glenn Arnold and wife Tierney; his daughter Amber Johnson and husband Johnny; his grandchildren Andrew, Garrett, Lori and Sarah Johnson and Teague and Melvin Arnold; his mother Betty Watkins; his sister Barbara Bryant; his brother Jimmy Wolfe and wife Janet; his numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Honoring the family by serving as pallbearers will be Glenn Arnold, Chris Wolfe, Tony Watson, Jimmy Wolfe, Gary Anderson and Floyd Anderson. Honorary pallbearer is Dave Fix.
