Mark Edward Lawrence

Mark Edward Lawrence, 59, of Huffman, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 in Humble, Texas. He was born on May 31, 1957 to Vernon and Gladys Cooper Lawrence. He graduated from Minooka High School in Minooka, Illinois. Mark was a heavy equipment operator and worked for Strike Construction, LLC in the pipeline industry for the past 12 years.

Mark was a workaholic, always tinkering with things. He had a passion for the guitar and loved playing music for everyone and singing. Mark loved football and was a devoted fan of the Houston Texans. He also like to fish and spend time at his lake house.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 30 years, Becky Lawrence; his sons Jay C. Lawrence of Huffman, Texas and Famen Wolf and his significant other Jasmine Sanchez of Huffman, Texas; his brother Glen Lawrence and wife Judy of Huffman, Texas; his sister Patty Williams and husband Mike of Illinois; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other loving relatives and friends. Mark will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Honoring the family by serving as pallbearers will be Jay C. Lawrence, Famen F. Wolf, Glen Lawrence, Troy Lawrence, Mike “Bird” Williams and Gary Jones.
