Clayton Lynn Barber

Clayton Lynn Barber, 72, of Baytown, Texas, passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2018 in Baytown, Texas. He was born on October 10, 1945 in Katy, Texas to Leo and Lucille Reeves Barber. Clayton was self employed as a truck driver for many years.

Clayton liked to eat out and he enjoyed eating and trying out different restaurants. He also enjoyed taking trips to Louisiana to play the slots, which was his favorite hobby of all.

Clayton was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife of 32 years Barbara Jean White Barber; his daughter Kelly Barber; and his sister Elsie Barber. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his daughter Pam Edge; his grandchildren Trinton Barber and Markki Thibodeaux; his great-grandchildren Olivia and Rebecca Thibodeaux; and other loving relatives and friends.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 10am until 11:30am on Thursday, October 18, 2018 in the chapel of Sterling Funeral Home, 602 N. Main Street, Dayton, Texas. A graveside service and committal will immediately follow in Palms Memorial Park Cemetery in Dayton.
