Adam Musser
August 9, 1984 ~ July 25, 2010
Richard Adam Musser, 25, of Kenefick, was born in Houston, Texas, on August 9, 1984. He left this earth too soon after dying instantly in a one vehicle crash on July 25, 2010.
Adam was an outdoorsman to be sure. He grew up riding horses, roping, and working the farm in Whitesboro, Oklahoma alongside his grandpa. Adam learned to play the trumpet and played three years in the jr. high band. He also loved to hunt, fish, ride four wheelers and camp. He enjoyed sports and followed them, be it basketball, baseball and or football. Although country music is what hit him in the heart, Adam also liked to listen to rock and even rap. He was a hard worker who sealed leaks for Team Industrial going on three years. His daughter was the light of his life. Adam will live on in the hearts and lives of all who knew and loved him, and be greatly missed.
Preceding him in death was his uncle, Joey Owens.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his parents, Frances (Carr) Carkhuff and John Carkhuff of Kenefick; 3 ½ year old son, Evan Musser of Bolivia; 13 month old daughter, Kinsley Musser and her mother, Michelle Palmer of Humble; maternal grandparents, Donald and Karen Morris of Whitesboro, OK; grandmother, Margaret Carkhuff of Humble; uncles, David Carr of Dallas, Randy Carr of Houston and Judd Carkhuff and wife, Tammy of Spring; aunts, Melissa and husband, Mike Dadich of Lockport, IL, and Stephanie Penix and husband, Ed of New Braunfels; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Adam’s family will receive friends 6:00 to 9 p.m., Tuesday, July 27, 2010, at Sterling Funeral Home. A second visitation will be in Whitesboro, OK Wednesday afternoon with funeral services held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 29, at the Whitesboro Baptist Church in Whitesboro, Oklahoma with the Rev. Alvin Brascum officiating. Burial will follow at Whitesboro Cemetery. Pallbearers will be John Abner, Josh Abner, Brady Brewer, Jimmy Morris, Mike Morris and Justin Peugh.
Final arrangements for Adam have been entrusted to Sterling Funeral Home, 602 N. Main, Dayton, TX 77535, (936)258-2678. Condolences for Adam’s family may be left online at www.sterlingfuneralhome.com.

p. morgan: I am so sorry to read about your dear loved one, Mr. Musser. Please allow these words to comfort you. "With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: “Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them. 4 And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” Revelation 21:3,4
