Carolyn Franssen Law

Carolyn Jeanette Franssen Law, 72, of Thompsons, Texas and formerly of Dayton, Texas, a passed away on Friday, March 14, 2014.  She was born in Dayton, Texas on March 20, 1941 to Sewell and Wilma Franssen.  She graduated from Dayton High School in 1959.

Mrs. Law enjoyed her grandchildren, potting plants and most of all her animals.  She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Dayton.

She was preceded in death by her parents Sewell and Wilma Franssen, sister Nina Lucille Sherman and brothers S.R. Franssen and Wayne Franssen.

Carolyn is survived by her husband of 49 years, James D. Law; daughter: Courtney Frayard and husband David; son: James F. Law; grandchildren: Alex Law, James Ronald Law, Coltin Dale Frayard, Megan Frayard and numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation with the family will be on Thursday, March 20, 2014, at Sterling Funeral Home, Dayton, Texas from 12:30 PM until 2:30 PM where funeral services will begin at 2:30 PM, with Rev. E.B. Beasley, Jr. officiating.

Interment will follow in Magnolia Park Cemetery Dayton, Texas.
