Adolph T. Rodriguez Sr.

Adolph Trigo Rodriguez, 69, of Houston and Smith Point was born April 12, 1944 and left this world in the loving arms of his wife Nancy, on Thursday, March 13, 2014.  

He is survived by his wife Nancy Joice Rodriguez, mother: Candelaria Rodriguez De Alonso; 3 sisters, 2 brother, 9 children, 18 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews; mother-in-law: Lily McClure, father-in-law: Paul McClure, sisters-in-law: Debbie Kritikos and husband Nick and Shari Brady and husband Steve and 4 nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father Adolph C. Rodriguez, sister Carmen Rodriguez and his beloved Tia Eva Belanga.  

Adolph was in the transportation business for many years.  He enjoyed working, fishing, gambling, and traveling with his wife. The man that could make something out of nothing.  He touched many lives, and will remain in our hearts forever.  

A visitation with the family will be on Sunday, March 16, 2014 from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM in the Chapel of Sterling Funeral Home, 1201 S. Main, in Anahuac and Monday, March 17, 2014 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 in the Chapel of Sterling Funeral Home, in Anahuac, Texas.

Interment will follow in Anahuac Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, family request memorial be made to the Wounded Warriors Project.

Pallbearers for Mr. Rodriguez will be Chris Kritikos, Gus Kritikos, Matthew Alexander III, Karl Ruele, Adolph Rodriguez Jr., Adolph Rodriguez III, Joseph Rodriguez, and Albert Rodriguez.

Honorary pallbearers will be Paul W. McClure, William Kritikos, Reynaldo Rodriguez.
