Agnes Marie Kerry, 57, of Humble, Texas, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, in Woodville, Texas. She was born on May 12, 1966, in Baytown, Texas, the daughter of the late Delman Ray and Agnes Marie Sonka Miller. Agnes found joy in reading, working on word searches, listening to music, and writing about music. In her later years, she embraced crocheting, cross-stitching, and painting, finding solace in their intricacies. Her favorite flower was the rose, reflecting her appreciation for beauty. An avid animal lover, she cherished all creatures, especially cats and tigers. Agnes was always very social and never met a stranger. Affectionately known as Mama Angie, she treated everyone like family, adoring her children and grandchildren and extending that love to all kids. Agnes was characterized by her stubbornness, creativity, love, and fighting spirit. Independent and strong-willed, she lived on her terms, deeply rooted in family values.

Agnes was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter Chelsea Kerry; her brothers Michael Ray Miller and Larry West; her aunt Dorothy Mae; and her bonus mom Diane Kahn. She is survived by her children, Thomas “Tommy” Kerry and wife Christy of Humble, John Lee “Bucky“ Kerry, Jr. and fiancé Vanna Calk of Noble, Louisiana, Samuel Aaron Kerry of Liberty, Dorothy Mae Kerry of Robeline, Louisiana, and Kory Dane Schisler of Cypress; her grandchildren Delanna, Dakota, and Madelynn Blackburn, Mason and Jeremiah Kerry, Taylor Calk, and Donovan Williams will fondly remember her. She is also survived by her siblings, Lee and Louis West, Lori Daniels, Terry Jacobs, and Jodi-Lynn Vinson and husband, John Lee Kerry, Sr., and her bonus mom, Brenda Young.

Agnes Marie Kerry will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
